Insurance Types

Use the Insurance Types screen to configure and view insurance types available for rental contracts.

To open the Insurance Types screen, navigate to Configuration > Rental > Insurance Types.

Fields on the Insurance Types screen are:

Field	Description
Select Code	Input the desired insurance code.
Select Description	Input the desired description assigned to the selected insurance code.

Insurance Types fields on the Insurance Types screen are:

Insurance Types
Field	Description
Insurance Code	The insurance code for the associated insurance type.
Description	A description of the listed insurance code.
Damage Waiver	Lists if the insurance type has a damage waiver applied.
Aggregate or Base Amount	Lists whether the insurance types are an aggregate or base amount. Aggregate insurance amounts depend on your available coverage and apply to all equipment rentals. The amount changes depending on your coverage available after each equipment rental. Base amounts are applied broadly to all equipment rentals within a maximum coverage limit (e.g. coverage of 100,000 can cover any and all equipment 100,000 or less in value).
