PAR128 Price Update Reports

There are several reports that you can print out when doing a master price file load (PARTPRC) or a price update through DTF (#CO12). The chart below gives a list of all of the reports, a brief description of each and the parameters which control when these reports are generated.

Dealers on the ASP need to specify a user/printer in the XMIT table. See Database 'PFW Help', View 'By Author', Document 'Job Scheduler Printer and User ID' for specifics and screen shots, etc.

Report Number Description of Report Manual Price File Update (PARTPRC) Deere DTF Price File Update (#CO12)
PAR128A New with IntelliDealer 5.0 is the default of 'N' (off). This report will print a list of parts where the average cost has been set to cost based on the 'Reset Avg Cost During Master Price Load' option in the ID table. This table is in the legacy system under WRKPFWVAL. On the ASP this can be accessed from the main menu, option #14, then option #1 Prints if the Reset Master Cost During Master Price Load option in Configuration > Administration > Settings > IntelliDealer Settings table is checked, a Master file is being run, and there are parts changed. This option is not applicable
PAR128D - Decrease in List or Cost Prices

This report will print a list of all parts whose prices (List or Cost) decrease.

Note:  This will always print if there is a decrease.

Always prints. Always prints.
PAR128I - Increase in List or Cost Prices This report will print a list of all parts whose prices (List or Cost) increase by more than the cutoff percentage entered during the load procedure. Prints if you enter a desired percentage cutoff.

Percentage cutoff defaults to 99. Therefore it only prints parts whose list or cost have increased by 99%.

You can change this cutoff percentage in Configuration > Misecellaneous > Other > System Settings - 'PAR128I List Price Inc/Dec Cutoff Percent.

PAR128R - Return Code Changes Lists all the parts whose return code has changed. It shows the old and new return codes for all parts that are affected during this update. Prints if Return Code Change Report = Y is selected during the price file run. Will print if 'Produce Summary Report (PAR128S) during Communications' switch is checked in Configuration > Miscellaneous > Other > System Settings.
PAR128S - Summary Report This reports summarizes the difference in cost, list, landed cost and retail for all the parts affected during the update. It totals these changes by class code. Will print if 'Produce Summary Report (PAR128S) during Communications' switch is checked in Configuration > Miscellaneous > Other > System Settings and the ‘Sort by Class’ is set to Y in the price update run parameters. Will print if 'Produce Summary Report (PAR128S) during Communications' switch is checked in Configuration > Miscellaneous > Other > System Settings and the ‘Sort by Class’ is set to Y in the price update run parameters
PAR128Z - Price is Zero Report

This report shows all parts on the price tape or update file that have a list or cost price of zero.

The PARTPRC master price file on the system will get updated with the 0 values but the part master will NOT. You must check this report and handle the parts according to your process for that vendor/location.

Always prints. Always prints.
PAR132 - Parts Not Found Report This report lists all of the part numbers that you have coded with the vendor that you are running the price update for, but these parts were not found on the tape/CD. This usually means that you have parts classed with the wrong vendor. Prints if Parts Not Found Report = Y. Never prints.
