Rental Utilization Reports
To generate the following rental utilization reports, click the Print Utilization Report link on the Utilization tab:

Rental Utilization Analysis (RM127) |
The Rental Utilization report displays rentals that occurred during the date range specified on the Utilization tab on a contract-by-contract basis. It displays the ARA Financial Utilization % for the selected equipment units and is calculated as follows: [(Annualized Rental Revenue/ Total Rental Equipment Value) for day 1 + (Annualized Rental Revenue/ Total Rental Equipment Value) for day 2 + (Annualized Rental Revenue/ Total Rental Equipment Value) for day 3 + (Annualized Rental Revenue/ Total Rental Equipment Value) for day n] ÷ n Where n is the number of days in the selected time period. Other values outlined on the report include: Per Day Amt: Amount/ total number of days between Date Out and Date In ARA Time Utilization %: The average fraction of the daily fleet OEC that is on-rent for a given time period. |
Rental Rate Trial and Age (RM127A) |
The Rental Rate Trial and Age report displays an analysis of revenue per duration type and age of rental inventory. The following values are included in the report: Utilization: Total hour count for the selected Duration during the date range specified on the Utilization tab. Revenue: Total revenue generated for the selected Duration during the date range specified on the Utilization tab. Per Duration: Revenue/ Utilization Combined Age: The average daily age of the fleet in tenths of months. |
Utilization Rate Change Analysis (RM127RC) |
The Utilization Rate Change Analysis report displays an analysis of the monthly change in utilization rates by category, class and subclass. The following values are included in the report: Utilization: Total hour count for the selected Duration during the date range specified in the selected Period. Revenue: Total revenue generated for the selected Duration during the date range specified in the selected Period. Per Duration: Revenue/ Utilization Base Fleet: Encompasses all classes that are present in the fleet during both the current and previous periods. As such, when the period advances to the next reporting period, the base fleet changes. Comp: "Complete" implies that there is at least one contract of a given type for a given class in both periods. For example, if for Class 1, there are three daily contracts in Period 1 and one daily contract in Period 2, the daily contracts are considered complete. "Complete" also implies that an average rate for a given class and contract type can be evaluated in both Period 1 and 2. Other Revenue: If a class is in the Base Fleet but “Incomplete” for a given contract type, the revenue associated with that contract type for that class is classified as Other Revenue in the Period where it is realized. Other Fleet: Any new classes added or old classes eliminated from the Base Fleet. |
