John Deere: Customer Linkage

You can use the John Deere Customer Linkage tool to create, remove and edit linkages between IntelliDealer and customers in the John Deere customer registry. While you cannot access Customer Linkage within IntelliDealer, you can use IntelliDealer's Customer Linkage interface to sync up customer numbers in IntelliDealer with John Deere.

The IntelliDealer Customer Linkage interface offers these main functions:

  • Update Supplier Mappings - the interface pulls linkages from John Deere and updates the Supplier Customer Mapping table (CMASSC) for all John Deere customers. This process syncs up CMASSC with the John Deere customer registry. The sync is one-way; the interface only updates IntelliDealer and cannot manage linkages or customer data in John Deere's system.

  • CSV Export - the interface offers a listing screen to export customer data from IntelliDealer into a CSV file. That file can then be uploaded to John Deere's Customer Linkage tool. John Deere uses this data to find matches between IntelliDealer customers and the John Deere registry's customers, and to facilitate creating linkages between them.

To use this interface, you must be licensed for Feature 6280 - "John Deere Customer Services". To access the interface, the user must have security switch CRM > Customer Care - Access John Deere Customer Linkage (700:27) enabled .
