Employee Hours

Use the Employee Hours screen to view, access, submit and build employee hours to an external payroll program.

To open the Employee Hours screen, select Financial Management > Payroll > Employee Hours.

The sorting option on the Employee Hours screen is:

Field Description
Employee Number Sort the search results by employee number.
Name Sort the search results by employee name.

The search fields on the Employee Hours screen are:

Field Description
Select Employee Number Search for an employee by entering an employee number.
Select Class Search for an employee by entering an employee class code.
Select Profit Center Search for an employee by entering a profit center.
Select Name Search for an employee by entering an employee name.
Select Category Search for an employee by entering an employee category.
Include Terminated If selected, includes terminated employee profiles within the search results.

The fields on the Employee Hours screen are:

Field Description
Status The employee status.
Employee Number The employee number.
Name The name of the employee.
Class The class of the employee. This field determines the G/L expense account from which the employee's wages are debited.
Category A three character user defined employee category.
Profit Center The profit center or department where the employee's wages are charged.
Pay Type Indicates the employee's pay type.
Hours The number of hours to be submitted or built for the employee.

Click an Employee Number to open the Employee Hours screen.

The buttons on the Employee Hours screen are:

Button Description
Submit Hours Creates the Time Card file for submitting the hours to the Payroll Plus program.
Build Hours Access the Build Hours screen to gather applicable employee labor records for the Payroll Plus submission.
