Custom Screen Field Properties

Use the Custom Screen Field Properties screen to customize screen fields/labels appearance and attributes.

The Custom Screen Field Properties screen can be accessed from the Screen Edit/Preview screen by clicking on or within a Field.

Fields on the Custom Screen Field Properties screen are:

Field	Description
Column	The field's column position on the screen.
Row	The field's row position on the screen.
Field/Label Text	The field name or the label text to appear in this cell on the custom screen. The system supports the same field appearing more than once on a custom screen.
Type	The type of field used on the screen.
Occurrence	If a field is repeated multiple times on a screen (e.g. a list of part numbers), you can create a single part number field but use the Occurrence value to uniquely identify each field. For example, if you had five part number fields, each one would have a unique occurrence number from 1 to 5. This eliminates the need to configure five separate part number fields.
Justify	Determines the field or label position within the cell.
Bold	Applies bold formatting to the label or data in the cell.
Color	The color of the label or data that appears in the cell.
Background Color	The background color for the cell.
Input Width	Specify how many characters can be entered in the input box.
Column Span	The number of columns combined to present the field or label. Used for headings that span multiple columns or to handle larger input fields.

Click Save to save changes made to the Custom Screen Field Properties screen.

Click Delete to delete the selected field.

Click Close to close the Custom Screen Field Properties screen without saving and return to the Screen Edit/Preview screen.
