Assign Stock Number
Use the Assign Stock Number screen to assign a stock number to a selected piece of equipment.
The Assign Stock Number screen is accessed from the Build Unit screen by clicking the Click here to add/link stock number link.
Fields on the Assign Stock Number screen are:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Create New Stock # | Indicate if the stock number is in inventory or is on order. |
| Stock # | Enter a new stock number or leave the field blank and the system assigns the next available stock number. |
| Machine Serial Number | Enter a new machine serial number for the stock number you are creating. |
| Select Existing Stock # | Enter the unit's existing stock number. |
Click Save to save changes made to the Assign Stock Number screen and enter the stock number in the Stock Number field on the Details tab.
Click Close to close the screen without saving and return to the Build Unit screen.
