Include/Exclude

The Include/Exclude tab allows you to decide which divisions, locations, and part vendors are to be included or excluded when defining automatic parts transfer parameters.

While the Central Inventory Include/Exclude can include or exclude divisions and/or locations, not every combination or possibility is covered. In particular, dealers with multiple divisions and multiple locations under each division may have difficultly, especially if the same numbered branch in another division requires a different configuration.

For example, if you have a location 02 in three different divisions you can include or exclude location 02 in all divisions, but you you cannot include location 02 in division 01 and division 02 while also excluding location 02 from division 03.

Tip: Consider all locations and the process impact before changing this screen.

You can access the Include/Exclude tab from the Parts Ordering screen by clicking on the Ordering Options link and selecting Stock Transfer/Central Inventory from the drop down list, then click the Include/Exclude tab.

The fields on the Include/Exclude tab are:

Field	Description
Divisions	The radio button options are:  include all divisions include only selected divisions exclude only selected divisions
Locations	The radio button options are:  include all locations include only specified locations exclude only specified divisions
Vendors	The radio button options are:  include all vendors include only specified vendors exclude only specified vendors

Use these buttons to complete your work on the Include/Exclude tab:

Button	Function
Save	Saves changes made on the Include/Exclude tab.
Close	Closes the Include/Exclude tab without saving and returns to the Parts Ordering screen.
