Rental Downcost - Calculations
When applying a partial credit to a rental line the following calculations occur depending on the original duration and the partial credit duration:
Note: If the rental line has a quantity greater than 1, the downcosting amount is divided by the quantity before any of the following calculations occur.

25% of the downcost amount on the original invoice is reversed. 1 week = 25% of 1 month |
| 1 Month | 1 Day |
5% of the downcost amount of the original invoice is reversed. 1 Day = 5% of 1 month |
| 1 Week | 1 Day |
20% of the downcost amount of the original invoice is reversed. 1 Day = 20% of 1 week |
Note: None of the calculations above are applied when crediting back the full duration (original duration) on a rental line.
Note: Downcosting amounts are not calculated for hourly durations.
