Add File/ Select Join

Add File:
To open the Add File screen, click the Yes link in the Add Join field of the Files tab.

Simply click the Files tab when creating a new data miner report.
The Add File screen allows you to add a data file to the selected report.
The following fields appear on the Add File screen:

| Library | The library location where the file resides. |
| File |
The data file from which the data for the report will be extracted. Note: Users are only authorized to select files that they have authority to create reports with, as specified on the Data Miner Security tab. By default, users with access to the Data Miner utility can run a report using any file in the library. |
| Type of Join |
Determines how the records in the selected file will be used for the report based on the records in the primary file; either Matched Records, Matched Records with Primary File, or Unmatched Records with Primary File. Note: For more information regarding join types, see the Files tab help topic. Note: This field will only appear when adding secondary files to the report. |
The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the Add File screen:

Saves changes made to the Add File screen. |
| Close | Closes the Add File screen without saving and returns to the Files tab. |
Select Join:
To open the Select Join screen, click a join type in the Type of Join field on the Files tab.
The Select Join screen allows you edit the join type of the selected file.
The following fields appear on the Select Join screen:
