Maintain Accounts And Profit Centers

To open the Maintain Accounts And Profit Centers screen, hover over the Configuration link from anywhere in IntelliDealer and select Utilities> Update Tables Accounts from the drop down list.

The Maintain Accounts And Profit Centers screen allows you to update the account numbers and profit centers at your dealership. When updated, the account numbers/ profit center information will be updated in the green screen table associate to the account.

The following search fields appear on the Maintain Accounts And Profit Centers screen:

Note:  The Select Account, Select Division and Select Branch fields are mandatory.

Field	Description
Select Company	Allows you to select the company that you want to update the account information for.
Select Division	Allows you to select the division that you want to update the account information for.
Select Branch	Allows you to select the branch that you want to update the account information for.
Select Account Number	Allows you to select a specific account number to update the information for.
Select Profit Center	Allows you to select a profit center to update the account information for.
Select Table	Allows you to select a specific green table to update the account information for.
Select Only Changes	If selected, will filter the search results to display only accounts for which a value has been entered in the Change Account field.

The following fields appear on the Maintain Accounts And Profit Centers screen:

Field	Description
Line Number	This field is system-generated and is used simply to display the search results in numerical order.
Location	The Company/ Division/ Branch location related to the selected account.
Table	The green screen table related to the selected account.
Table Key	The remainder of the key for the PFWTAB file associated to the account. For example, if the selected account is associated to the CASHTAB table (which itself stores values for multiple cash codes), the table key will be the specific cash code associated to the selected account.
Account	The account number, as stored in IntelliDealer. Note:  Invalid account numbers will appear reverse-highlighted.
Description	A brief description of the selected account.
Change Account	The account number that you want to change the selected account to (or add to the selected table). Note:  A blank value in this field denotes that no change will be applied.
Change Profit Center	The profit center that you want to apply to the selected account. Note:  A blank value in this field denotes that no change will be applied.

Click the Mass Change Profit Center link to change the profit center for all the accounts currently displayed in the search results using the Mass Change Profit Center screen.

The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the Maintain Accounts And Profit Centers screen:

Button	Function
Apply	Applies the Change Account and Change Profit Center to the selected accounts.
Closes	Closes the Maintain Accounts And Profit Centers screen without making any changes.
