Add Contact

To open the Add Contact window, tap the Add icon next to the Contacts header on the Customer Detail screen.

Note that:

  • At minimum, all new contacts must have a First Name and Last Name configured.

  • If you do not configure a phone number for the new contact, the system automatically assigns the primary contact's phone number to the new contact.

The Add Contact window allows you to perform the following actions:

Action Steps
To add the contact to the selected customer profile

Tap the Add Contact button after entering the desired information. The contact is added to the selected customer profile.

To return to the Customer Detail screen without adding the contact

Tap the Back icon.

The fields on the Add Contact screen are:

Field Description
Title The prefix (Mr, Mrs, Dr, etc.) that applies to the selected customer (if applicable.)
First Name The contact's first name.
Middle Initials The initial letter of the middle name of the contact.
Last Name The contact's last name.
Birth Date The contact's birth date.
Job Title The contact's job title.
Spouse Name The name of the contact's spouse or significant other.
Business/Home Information
Field Description
Address The contact's business/home address.
Postal Code The postal code of the contact's business/home address.
Phone Number The contact's business/home phone number.
Extension The contact's business/home phone number extension.
Cell Number The contact's business/personal cell phone number.
Cell Carrier The contact's business/personal cell phone service provider.
Fax Number The contact's business/home fax number.
Extension The contact's business/home fax number extension.
Email The contact's business/personal email address.
