Select Images

To open the Select Images screen, click the Click here to add a link from the CDK server link on the Multimedia tab.

The Select Images screen allows you to add an image file to the Multimedia tab.

The following search fields appear on the Select Images screen:

Field Description
Select File Name Enter the name of the file you wish to add to the Multimedia tab.
Show

Display files by category:

  • Unassociated: The file is not currently associated with any component in IntelliDealer.

  • Associated: The file is currently associated with any component in IntelliDealer.

The following fields appear on the Select Images screen:

Field Description
Allows you to select or deselect image files.
File Name The file name.
Title The title of the image file.
Classification

The image file classification (e.g. None, Current, External, Web, Mobile, KM Publishing, Document, Link, Historical, Internal, Evaluations, Portal, Electronic Document Signing (EDS), or Fixed Asset).

Note:  The image file classification should be set during the initial file selection.

Note:  If you access the Multimedia tab from the Customer Profile screen and you select Portal in this field, a preview of the image will be displayed when using the Customer Portal.
If you want an image to appear in the ID MobileAccess application, you must select Web in this field. The supported image file extensions for ID MobileAccess are .jpeg .jpg, .bmp, .png, and .gif.
All other classifications simply create a separation in the Multimedia tab.

Note:  The classification can only be altered if the file is not currently associated with any component in IntelliDealer.

Select the Click here for multi-file upload link to upload multiple files to a specific directory on your server.

Click the Single file upload link to upload a single file to a specific directory.

The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the Select Images screen:

Button Function
Associate Associates the image file with a component in IntelliDealer and loads the image onto the Multimedia tab.
Associate & Keep Associates the image file with a component in IntelliDealer and loads the image onto the Multimedia tab and will allow you keep the same image to use for another item.
Delete Deletes the selected image file from the server.
Close Closes the Select Images screen without associating an image file and returns to the Multimedia tab.
