Select Method

The Select Method screen can be accessed from the Fixed Asset Profile tab by clicking on the Search icon next to the Method field.

The Select Method screen allows you to select a depreciation method for the selected fixed asset.

The following is a description of the search field that appears on the Select Method screen:

Field	Description
Search	Allows you to enter the name, description, or keyword of the field. The system will filter the results dynamically as you enter each character.

The following is a description of the fields that appear on the Select Method screen:

Field	Description
Code	The method code.
Description	A brief description of the method.

Note:  
User Define depreciation method codes are set up on the User Depreciation screen accessed through the Configuration Quick Link screen.

The following button allows you to complete your work on the Select Method screen:

Button	Function
Close	Closes the Select Method screen without selecting a method and returns to the Fixed Asset Profile tab.
