Select Method
Use the Select Method screen to select a depreciation method for a fixed asset.
To open the Select Method screen, click the Search 
icon next to the Method field on the Fixed Asset Profile tab.
The search field on the Select Method screen is:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Search | Enter a name, description, or keyword for the field. The system filters the results dynamically as you enter each character. |
The fields on the Select Method screen are:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Code | The method code. |
| Description | A brief description of the method. |
User-defined depreciation method codes are set up on the User Depreciation screen.
Click Close to complete your work on the Select Method screen without selecting a method and return to the Fixed Asset Profile tab.
