Extended Description

The Extended Description screen can be accessed from the G/L Details tab by clicking on a More icon next to the Description field.

The Extended Description screen allows you to enter an extended description in place of a description in the Description field on the G/L Details tab.

The following is a description of the field that appears on the Extended Description screen:

Field	Description
Line Number	Indicates which description line the extended description corresponds to.

Note:  
Type in your extended description in the text box provided below the Line Number field.

Note:  
To activate the extended description click the Save button on the G/L Details tab after clicking the Save button on the Extended Description field. The More icon will turn red indicating that the extended description is saved and accessible.

The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the Extended Description screen:

Button	Function
Save	Saves changes made on the Extended Description screen and returns to the G/L Defaults tab.
Close	Closes the Extended Description screen without saving and returns to the G/L Defaults tab.
