Extended Description
Use the Extended Description screen to enter an extended description in place of a description in the Description field on the G/L Details tab.
To open the Extended Description screen, click the More 
icon next to the Description field on the G/L Details tab.
The field on the Extended Description screen is:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Line Number | Indicates which description line the extended description corresponds to. |
Enter an extended description in the text box provided below the Line Number field.
To activate the extended description click Save on the G/L Details tab after clicking Save on the Extended Description field. The More icon turns red to indicate that the extended description is saved and accessible.
The buttons on the Extended Description screen are:
| Button | Description |
|---|---|
| Save | Saves changes made on the Extended Description screen and returns to the G/L Defaults tab. |
| Close | Closes the Extended Description screen without saving and returns to the G/L Defaults tab. |
