Jacket Tab

The Jacket tab allows you to edit the job request/jacket.

The Jacket tab can be accessed by clicking on the Jacket Number on the Job Jackets Listing screen.

The fields on the Jacket tab are:

Field Description
Details The job jacket number.
Location The branch location where the machine is being serviced.

Name

The customer name associated with this job request/jacket.

Click the customer name link to open the customer profile, or hover over it to access the customer toolbar.

Address The customer address associated with this job request/jacket.
Requested By

The contact name associated with this job request/jacket.

Phone Number The phone number associated with this job request/jacket.
Cell Number The cell phone number associated with this job request/jacket.
PO Number The customer provided Purchase Order number associated with this job request/jacket.
Requested Repair Date The repair date requested by the customer for the job jacket.
Stock Number

The machine number and the machine description.

Click the machine number to open the equipment profile.

The General Description of the job entered on theJob Request screen appears below the Stock Number.

The lower half of the Jacket tab is a table containing information about the Jacket. These fields are similar for all:

  • Status—The current status of the change or step.

  • Created By—The person associated with the status change or step.

  • Date—The date that the change was made.

  • Time—The time that the change was made.

Field Reference

Job Request

The job jacket number.

Open Work Order

The work order number. Click the work order number to open the work order.

Inbound Traffic

Create or Decline a traffic ticket, or reports the traffic ticket number, or lists that a traffic ticket has been declined.

  • Click Create to build a new traffic ticket.

  • Click Decline to skip the building of a traffic ticket.

  • Click the traffic ticket number to open the traffic ticket.

Quote / Estimate

Create or Decline a quote/estimate, or report the quote/estimate number, or lists that a quote has been declined.

Click the quote/estimate number to open the quote.

Job Details

The work order number. Click the work order number to open the work order.

Warranty

Submit or Decline a warranty receipt number, or lists that a traffic ticket has been declined.

Click the Submitted link to indicate that a warranty claim has been filed.

Click the Decline link to indicate that the warranty has been declined.

Note:  
The warranty will be automatically declined if the Repair Status is set as Internal or Customer.

Outbound Traffic

Create or Decline a traffic ticket, or reports the traffic ticket number, or lists that a traffic ticket has been declined.

Click on the Create to build a new traffic ticket.

Click on Decline to skip the building of a traffic ticket.

Click on the traffic ticket number to open the traffic ticket.

Follow-up

Select Contacted or Declined to indicate the status of any customer follow-up activities.

Click Contacted link to indicate that the customer has been contacted with some form of follow-up.

Click on the Decline link to indicate that no follow-up was performed.

Use these buttons to complete your work on the Jacket tab:

Button Function
Save Saves the changes made on the Jacket tab.
Save & Close Saves the changes and closes the Jacket tab and returns to the Job Jackets Listing screen.
Close Closes the Jacket tab and returns to the Job Jackets Listing screen.
History

Marks this job jacket as fully completed and placed it into history.

The History button only appears when all lines are either completed/billed or declined, depending on the type of entry.
