Job Jackets Listing

The Job Jackets Listing screen allows you to edit, close, add, view or search for a job jacket.

The Job Jacket is a simple reference to track the entire customer experience as they deal with your service department. The history of the service transaction is stored from start to finish, including:

  • the customer

  • the machine being serviced

  • the related work order

  • the inbound and outbound traffic movement

  • the status of any warranty claims

  • the customer call records

  • any multimedia files (documents or photographs) related to the job

When you request a Job Jacket for a customer service inquiry, it is added to the Job Jacket listing. At each point in the customer experience, as the request moves through the service department from Quote or Estimate, to Work Order, to Traffic Ticket, to customer follow up calls, the Job Request tracks the salesperson or technician involved in logging transactions and requests, and notes the date and time of each status change or new step.

From a Job Jacket, authorized service personnel can jump off into each area of the system and review or document each step of the transaction for future reference. With the job jacket working as a central location for record keeping, your customer interactions are smoother and more efficient, offering both a time saving for you (the staff) and your valued customers.
