Deere Parts Ordering

Use the Deere Parts Ordering screen to place John Deere parts orders to a specific shipping location.

Note:  Overriding a ship-to address is only necessary if the order is to be shipped to a location other than the ordering location. Unless the JDPOINT preferences are set for the account or location disallowing an override of the ship-to address. If any of the address fields are modified then all of the fields must be completed with the exception of the State field which can be left blank when the destination country does not have states or provinces.

To open the Deere Parts Ordering screen:

1. Navigate to Product Support > Parts > Parts Ordering.

2. Click Need to create a stock order? Click here to add.

   The Parts Order screen opens.

3. Create an order with a John Deere vendor number.

4. Click Save.

   The Release button appears.

5. Click Release to release the order.

6. Click Transmit.

   The Deere Parts Ordering screen appears.

Fields on the Deere Parts Ordering screen are:

Field	Description
Order Type	Lists the type of order.
MD Plus	Indicates that the John Deere order is a Machine Down Plus order.
Will Call	Select whether or not the order is to be shipped (No) or if you are contacted by the vendor when the order is ready to be picked up at the Depot (Yes). The parts are placed in a Will Call Shelf location, indicating the intention to contact the vendor for pick up. The Will Call field only appears if the order is not a Stock Order. All orders of type Stock Order default the Will Call field to No.
Account	Select an Account Number. Account Numbers are configured as Dealer Numbers in the Dealer tab of the Vendor Profile screen.
Phone	The phone number of the Ship To location. This field is only populated if this is a direct ship order.
Name	The name of the Ship To location. This field is only populated if this is a direct ship order.
Address 1	The first address line of the Ship To location. This field is only populated if this is a direct ship order.
Address 2	An additional address line for the Ship To location. This field is only populated if this is a direct ship order.
City	The city where the Ship To location is. This field is only populated if this is a direct ship order.
State	The state where the Ship To location is. This field is only populated if this is a direct ship order.
ZIP Code	The ZIP code of the Ship To location. This field is only populated if this is a direct ship order.
Country	The country where the Ship To location is. This field is only populated if this is a direct ship order.
Bin	Select whether the packing slip for the order includes either the Order/Customer Name or the Bin Location of the parts.

Buttons on the Deere Parts Ordering screen are:

Button	Description
Transmit	Click the Transmit button to immediately send the order to the vendor.
Close	Closes the Deere Parts Ordering screen without saving and returns to the previous screen.

Once a Deere Parts Order has been placed using this screen it refreshes and confirms that the order was accepted and prompts you to refer to JDPoint for order status information.
