Parts Search
Data Source: PARTMAST
The Parts Search screen allows you to search for a part.
The Parts Search screen will initially be displayed listing all parts loaded on the part master file.
The following search fields appear on the Parts Search screen:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Master Price Search | Search for a part by searching through the master price file, as well as your parts inventory. |
Select Part Number | Search for a part by entering a part number. |
Select Description | Search for a part by entering a part description. |
Select Search | Search for a part by entering a part key word search. |
Select Vendor Number |
Search for a part by entering a vendor number. Note: This field will be locked using GL as the vendor, when adding a new CNH CRA Mapping to the system. |
Select Class | Search for a part by entering a class. |
Select Source | Search for a part by entering a source. |
Select Type | Search for a part by entering the associated type code. |
Show Extended Information | If selected, displays the machine and model fields on the second row within the search results. |
The following fields appear on the Parts Search screen:
Field | Description |

Part Number |
The part number(s) that best represent the search criteria entered in the search fields above. Note: If a Plus icon appears next to this field, the selected part number has an extended description.Click the Plus icon to view the extended description. |
Description |
A brief physical description of the part. Note: If the part description appears highlighted, a cross referenced part exists for the selected part. Hover over the description to see the cross referenced part number. |
Vendor | The vendor number that currently has the selected part in stock. |
Source | The source of supply for the part. Usually this is used to break down the parts into different categories within each vendor. |
Class | The parts class code. |
Type | The type of part. |
Bin | The bin location where this part can be found. |
On Hand | The quantity on hand. This includes any shipments that have been receipted using the inventory adjustments screen, or by the receipting of a purchase order, but has not been reduced by any parts sold since the last sales order billing run. |
On Order | The amount currently on order with the supplier. |
OFC | The order formula code for this part. This code determines the method to be used in computing the order quantity for a part. |
The following button allows you to complete your work on the Parts Search screen:
Button | Function |

Close | Closes the Parts Search screen and returns to the previous screen. |
