Part Search
Use the Part Search screen to search for a part.
To open the Part Search screen, click the Search
icon next to the Part Number field on the Part Add Ons tab.
Search fields on the Part Search screen are:

| Select Part Number | Search for a part by entering a part number. |
| Select Description | Search for a part by entering a part description. |
| Select Vendor Number | Search for a part by entering a vendor number. |
| Select Class | Search for a part by entering a class code. |
| Select Source | Search for a part by entering a source code. |
Fields on the Part Search screen are:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Part Number | The part number(s) that best represent the search criteria entered in the search fields above. |
| Description | A brief description of the part. |
| Vendor | The vendor that has the part in stock. |
| Source | The source of supply for the part. Usually this is used to break down the parts into different categories within each vendor. |
| Class | This field is used to categorize parts. |
| Type | The type of part. This field is user defined. |
| Bin | The bin location where this part can be found. |
| On Hand | The quantity on hand. This includes any shipments that have been receipted using the inventory adjustments screen, or by the receipting of a purchase order, but has not been reduced by any parts sold since the last sales order billing run. |
| On Order | The total quantity of parts on order with the supplier, including back-ordered quantity. |
| OFC | The order formula code for this part. This code determines the method to be used in computing the order quantity for a part. See Order Formula Codes (OFC) Summary. |
Click Close to close the screen and return to the Part Add Ons screen.
