Volvo Parts Availability

The Volvo Parts Availability screen can be accessed from the Parts Availability screen by selecting the Volvo Availability button.

The Volvo Parts Availability screen will allow a dealer to return/search for parts information and parts availability information from a Volvo warehouse or parts order.

The following is a description of the search fields that appear on the Volvo Parts Availability screen:

Field Description
Part Number The number of the part you are inquiring to Volvo about.
Inquiry Available Qty The amount of parts you are inquiring to order.

The following is a description of the fields that appear on the Part Information Summary section on the Volvo Parts Availability screen:

Part Information Summary
Field Description
Part Number The corresponding Volvo part number, according to the Volvo Part Master.
Description A brief description of the part.
Local Price The dealer's local price for the selected part.
Retail Price The suggested retail price from Volvo CE Price Master.
Stock Availability Indicates the amount of parts that are currently available in stock.
Warehouse Code The Warehouse code from Order Engine.
Superseding Part Number The part number of the superseding part, according to Volvo Parts Master. Will appear blank if no superseding part exists.
Order Conf Code Text A description of the order confirmation code.
Discount Code The discount code from the Volvo CE Price Master.
Marketing Code The marketing code from the Volvo CE Price Master.
Planned Available Date The estimated date when the part is available.
Special Price Indicates whether the part has a special price attached to it, (Yes, indicates a special price).
Special Price Date The date the part's special price expires.
Supersession Structure Code

The superseding part's Supersession structure code.

  • S: Single, structure one to one

  • M: Multiple , structure one to many

  • V: Variable supersession, contact order office for info.

  • 0: Expired, structure is missing (e.g. the discontinued part has not been superseded.

  • Blank: No supersession
Superseding Part Description The description of the Superseding part, depending on the language code.

The following is a description of the fields that appear on the Package Summary section on the Volvo Parts Availability screen:

Package Summary
Field Description
Net Weight The part's net weight.
Net Volume The part's net volume.
Package Quantity The quantity adjusted according to the bulk package amount, (e.g. if bulk package = 8 and ordered quantity = 10, the quantity will be adapted to = 16).
Unit of Measure The part's unit of measure as defined in the Volvo Parts Master.
Country of Origin The part's country of origin code (e.g. ISO).
Customs Code The part's intrastat number (e.g. 8421230090).

Close Closes the Volvo Parts Availability screen and returns to the Parts Availability screen.
