Adding an Option Category Code
Adding an option category allows you to store a one character option character and description. Option category codes are used to help organize option codes on the base profile. Valid option category codes can be found in the Parent Category field throughout the Equipment system.

From any IntelliDealer screen, click on the Configuration tab.

From the Equipment list, click the Profile link and select Option Categories from the drop down list.

The Option Categories screen will appear.

On the Option Categories screen, click on the Need to create a new category? Click here to add link.

On the Option Categories screen, enter a one character option category Code use to represent the option category throughout the equipment system.

Enter an option category code Description.

Click the Save button to save the new option category code and return to the Option Categories screen.

Click the Save & New button to save the new option category code.
The Option Categories screen will refresh allowing you to add another option category code without closing the screen.
