Option Categories

To open the Option Categories screen, hover over the Configuration link from anywhere within IntelliDealer and select Equipment> Profile> Option Categories from the drop down list.
The Option Categories screen allows you to store a one character option character and description. Option category codes are used to help organize option codes on the base profile. Valid option category codes can be found in the Parent Category field throughout the Equipment system.
The following sorting options appear on the Option Categories screen:

| Code | Sort the search results by option category code. |
| Description | Sort the search results by option category code description. |
The following search fields appear on the Option Categories screen:

|---|---|
| Select Code | Search for a option category code by entering an option category code. |
| Select Description | Search for a option category code by entering an option category code description. |
| Include Inactive | If selected, includes Inactive option category codes within the search results. |
The following fields appear on the Option Categories screen:

|---|---|
| Code | A code used to represent the option category on the base profile. |
| Description | A brief description of the option category. |
Click on a Code to edit existing option codes.

The following button allows you to complete your work on the Option Categories screen:
