Alert Management Overview
The Alert Management system allows you configure up to 47 different alert messages that are automatically sent to customers, technicians, or dealership staff under various circumstances. For example, if you want to automatically notify a customer when the warranty on one their equipment units is about to expire, you can configure an End of Warranty alert message.
In order to properly implement the Alert Management system at your dealership, complete the following steps in the order listed below. For detailed information about the different alert types, please see the Alert Type Overview topic.
- Make sure the Miscellaneous - Access Other switch is activated in security system 999.
- Make sure you have configured a valid Alert Master Email Address on the System screen.
- Configure the desired alert recipients for each alert type.
- Create the desired alert messages.
- Set the alert methods for each alert type at each location.
