Converting a Parts Quote into a Work Order

Prerequisites: You must first create a parts quote in the system before you can convert a parts quote into a work order. Only parts quotes with a status of Pending or Quoted can be covered into a work order.

1. Navigate to Product Support > Parts > Parts Quoting.

   The Parts Quoting screen appears.

   
   

2. Search for the part to convert by filling out the appropriate fields and clicking Go >> .

   The Parts Quoting screen refreshes listing the generated search results.

   
   

3. Move the cursor over a Reference Number and select Edit from the drop down list.

   The Customer - Quote Header tab appears.

   
   

4. Click the Click here to covert this to a work order quote link.
   The Confirmation screen appears.

5. Click Yes to convert the parts quote to a work order quote.

   The Parts Quoting screen appears, no longer listing the parts quote.

6. Navigate to Product Support > Service > Work Order Quoting.
   The Work Order Quoting screen appears listing the converted part quote as a work order quote.
