Multimedia

The Multimedia screen is used to provide links to any type of multimedia file (assuming the appropriate software is present) and is used for the purpose of presenting more information (e.g. equipment, parts, warranty documents, etc.). Click on the picture in order to process the multimedia file. Clicking on the description will allow the user to edit the Multimedia Links.

The following is a description of the fields that appear on the Multimedia screen:

Field	Description
Added	The date and time the multimedia link was added.
By	The user who added the multimedia link.

Click on a thumbnail to process the multimedia file.

Note:  If the multimedia file is larger than 1MB, a Click to display link will appear in place of a thumbnail. Click the link to view the associated image.

Click the Name of the link under the thumbnail to to open the Edit Link screen and edit the multimedia link.

Click the Click here to add a link from the CDK server link to add a new multimedia link from the system server.

Click the Add an external link link to add an external multimedia link using the Add Link screen.

The following button allows you to complete your work on the Multimedia screen:

Button	Function
Close	Closes the Multimedia screen and returns to the Logged On screen.
