Security Switches - Configuration

To access the Work With Security Switches screen, click the link for the desired system or switch. You can control access to the security switch for individual users or user groups.

CRM - Access Profile

Allows you to access and configure the CRM profile functions at Configuration > CRM > Profile. Functions are:

Classifications, Salespeople, Categories, Territories, and Province/State Codes

CRM - Access Taxes & Discounts

Allows you to access and configure the taxes & discount functions at Configuration > CRM > Taxes & Discounts. Functions are:

Location Tax, Tax 1, Tax 2, Tax 3, Tax 4, and Discount

CRM - Access Calls

Allows you to access and configure the CRM call functions at Configuration > CRM > Calls. Functions are:

Division Settings, Categories, Types, Purposes, and Results

General Ledger - Access Accounts Receivable Allows you to access and configure the accounts receivable functions (Terms, Late Charges, Cash Codes, Farmplan/Powerplan, Statements) at Configuration > General Ledger > Accounts Receivable.
General Ledger - Access Accounts Payable

Allows you to access and configure the accounts payable functions at Configuration > General Ledger > Accounts Payable. Functions are: 

Vendor Categories, Currency, G/L Defaults, Payroll Plus Import, and Vendor EFT

General Ledger - Access G/L Accounts

Allows you to access and configure the G/L accounts functions at Configuration > General Ledger > G/L Accounts. Functions are:

Account Profile, Profit Centers, Group Codes, D.O.C. Reports, Area Sales G/L Accounts, Account Groupings, Account Access List, Special Accounts, and Account 1st Digits

General Ledger - Access Purchase Orders

Allows you to access and configure the purchase order functions at Configuration > General Ledger > Purchase Orders. Functions are:

Location Settings, FOB, Priority, Terms, Unit of Measure, Ship Via, and Shipping Instructions

General Ledger - Access Employee

Allows you to access and configure the employee functions at Configuration > General Ledger > Employee. Functions are:

Classes, Marital Status, Sex, and Types

General Ledger - Access Payroll N/A
General Ledger - Access General Allows you to access and configure the general G/L functions

at Configuration > General Ledger > General. Functions are:

Invoice/Quote Messages, Agency Invoice Message, Agency Remit to Address, Daily Sales Budgets, User Defined Depreciation, and KPI Thresholds
Equipment - Access Profile

Allows you to access and configure the equipment profile functions at Configuration > Equipment > Profile. Functions are:

Equipment Defaults, Equipment Models, Group Codes, Classifications, Classes, Option Categories, Option Sub Categories, Equipment Add Defaults, Cost Summary Breakdown, and Update Supplier Invoice Amount

Equipment - Access General

Allows you to access and configure the general equipment functions at Configuration > Equipment > General. Functions are:

After Sales Accounts, Miscellaneous Charges Credits, Inspection Types, Inspection Type Attributes, Inspection Section Steps, Traffic, Traffic SubTypes, Invoicing, Deposit, History SubTypes, Margin Programs, Margin Additional Costs, Margin Reserves, and Margin User Levels

Parts - Access Profile

Allows you to access and configure the parts profile functions at Configuration > Parts > Profile. Functions are:

PartsAdds, Types, Source of Supply, Classes, Return Codes, Master Price Files, and Sales Tax Update

Parts - Access Costing

Allows you to access and configure the parts profile functions at Configuration > Parts > CostingFunctions are:

Cost Code Order Creation, Cost Code Order Updates, and Cost Code Updates

Allows you to access and configure the general parts functions at Configuration > Parts > General. Functions are:

Alternate Charge G/L Accounts, Deposit, Freight, JD PM Manage, Location Grouping, Location Transfers, Manufacturer Groupings, Quote Settings, Parts Highlighting, Parts Lost Sales, Parts Requisitions Lost Sales, Parts Requisitions Highlighting, Parts Store Priorities, and Report Groupings

Service - Access Work Orders

Allows you to access and configure the general ledger functions at Configuration > Service > General Ledger. Functions are:

Work Order G/L Accounts, Work Order Premium Code G/L Defaults, Rates, Miscellaneous Charges, Labor Fees, and Quote Adjustments

Service - Access Agreements & Warranties

Allows you to access and configure the agreements and warranty functions at Configuration > Service > Agreements & Warranties. Functions are:

SAM Programs, SAM Schedules, SAM Contract Categories, Warranty Defaults, Warranty Causes, and Warranty Types

Service - Access General

Allows you to access and configure the general service functions at Configuration > Service > General. Functions are:

Division Settings, Work In Process, Time Off, IntelliTech Setup, Job Code Selection Groups, Quote Settings, and Premium Codes

Rental - Access Setup

Allows you to access and configure the rental setup functions at Configuration > Rental. Functions are:

Category Class Subclass Setup, Rental Duration, Rental Control Setup, Rental Reason Codes, Demo Loaner Accounts, Insurance Types, Customer Insurance Agency, Unattended Rental Billing Parameters, Safety Messages, Safety Messages by Category Class, Inspection Steps, Labor Codes, Job Site, Job Customers, and Rental Holidays

Interfaces - Access Allows you to access and configure interfaces through Configuration > Interfaces. You may also require licensing for the specific feature you are trying to configure.
Miscellaneous - Access Other

Allows you to access and configure the miscellaneous functions at Configuration > Miscellaneous > Other. Functions are:

Ship Via, Promotion Code, Task Templates, Mobile Phone Carriers, Alert Management, Retention History, Terminals, and System Settings

Miscellaneous - Access Printing

Allows you to access and configure the miscellaneous functions at Configuration > Miscellaneous > Printing. Functions are:

Forms Numbers, Laser Overlay, Configure Printers, Marketing Footer, Signature Positioning, Email Headers, PDF Retention, and Configure Printers (New)

Utilities - Access Validate Tables Allows you to access and configure the validate tables function (Validate Tables) at Configuration > Utilities > Validate Tables.
Utilities - Access Add a Branch

Allows you to access and configure the add a branch function (Add a Branch) at Configuration > Utilities > Add a Branch.

Note:  The Add a Branch function requires a VitalEdge password.

Utilities - Access Update Table Accounts Allows you to access and configure the update tables accounts (Maintain Accounts and Profit Centers) at Configuration > Utilities > Add a Branch.
Utilities - Access Server Configuration Allows you to access and configure the server configuration function (Server Configuration) at Configuration > Utilities > Server Configuration.
Utilities - Access Print File Description Allows you to access and configure the print file description function (Print File Descriptions) at Configuration > Utilities > Print File Descriptions.
Utilities - Access Scheduled Jobs Allows you to access and configure the scheduled jobs function (Scheduled Jobs) at Configuration > Utilities > Scheduled Jobs.
Utilities - Access Unattended Billing Runs Allows you to access and configure the unattended billing run dates within the system (Unattended Billing Runs) at Configuration > Utilities > Unattended Billing Runs.
Utilities - Access John Deere User ID's Allows you to access and configure the John Deere User IDs stored within the system using the John Deere User ID screen.
Global Settings - Access Messages Allows you to access and configure the messages function (Messages) at Configuration > Utilities > Messages.
Vermeer Field Inventory - Division Logic This switch is needed for the Vermeer Dealer Integrations interface. The Field Inventory transmission sends information about inventory, rental, and demo units to Vermeer.
Access JD eCommerce Status Update Tool Allows you to access a manual status update that is sent to any JD eCommerce order that has been received in the system. This is to be used only as a last resort when a parts invoice is inaccessible in IntelliDealer and an additional status update must be sent.
