The Terms screen can be accessed from the Terms screen by clicking on either the Need to create a new term? Click here to add link or by clicking on a Code.

The Terms screen allows you to add a new term code to the system or maintain an existing term code.

The following is a description of the fields that appear on the Terms screen:

Field Description
Code A five character alphanumeric code used to define the shipping term code within the system.
Location

The branch location where the term code is set up as a valid code.

Note:  

This field only appears when accessing the Terms screen by selecting the Need to add a new term? Click here to add link.
Description A brief description of the term code.
Active for System

Controls whether the terms code is active for use within the system.

  • Selected: Activates or reactivates the terms code within the system.

  • Not Selected: Indicates that the terms code is deactivated within the system.

Note:  

This field only appears when accessing the Terms screen by selecting a Code.

The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the Terms screen:

Button Function
Save Saves changes made on the Terms screen.
Copy

Copies the select term code.

Note:  

This button appears only by accessing the Terms screen by clicking on a Code.
Save & New

Saves a newly added term code and refreshes the Terms screen, allowing you to add another term code without closing the screen.

Save & Next

Allows you to save any edits/changes made to the selected term code and scroll through to the next term code in the list to apply any edits/changes.

Close Closes the Terms screen without saving and returns to the Terms screen
