System Notification Email Address

This screen is used to assign email addresses for notification messages that are delivered if specific conditions are met.

You can access the System Notification Email Address by navigating to Administration > Settings > System Notification Emails.

The Change Configuration button opens a dialog box where an email address can be specified to have ALL notification or only unassigned notifications. Use this to determine who ought to receive system or business critical emails when the situation occurs.

The icon opens a window where you can add additional email addresses to a specific notification.

Notification Description

A Rental invoice did not print

An expected rental invoice as part of a recurring contract did not print during the scheduled billing run.

Feature License - 7 day expiry warning

An IntelliDealer feature's license will expire within 7 days. If this is not expected, please contact IntelliDealer Client Services.

Equipment Billing Run aborted

A legacy equipment billing run was aborted due to an error.

See the email for details.

Equipment Billing or Posting error report

Conditions relating to equipment billing and/or posting may require user intervention.

File monitoring could not be started for an individual file

File monitoring (logging) could not be started for an individual file.

Full Database Reorganize failure

There was an error in the Day End procedure that caused it to fail.

Legacy Parts and/or Labor Real Time Processing failed.

Applicable to on-premises servers only. There has been no backup of the data library for at least five days.

Not enough disk space for a backup to a save file

Applicable to on-premises servers only. There is not enough disk space for a backup to a save file.

Overdue Parts Month End Alert

The Accounts Receivable Month End has been run, so Parts Month End should now be run.

An example of the message sent is:

Parts Month End and A/R Month End are out of sync for 04/04. Parts Month End for 20130731 needs to be closed since the A/R Month End is 20130831. Until the Parts Month End and the A/R Month End are in sync, Parts billing runs cannot be posted for this division.

System Settings error list

A listing of error conditions in the system settings that should be rectified.

Vendor A/P Name, A/P Address and/or EFT Banking Information Change

There has been a change to a vendor's A/P Name, A/P Address and/or EFT Banking information. An informational anti-fraud email has been sent to the vendor's email on file.

An example of the email message is: 

We wanted to let you know your account information has changed. For your security we can’t specify what was updated, but it may include your business name, address, or EFT banking details.

If you recently changed any of this account information with our dealership, you can disregard this message.

If you didn’t change your account information, you should contact our accounting department or sales counter immediately.

FileBound Purchase Order/Receiver Configuration ID Error

Appears if the data in the listed fields does match the configuration settings within IntelliDealer. Purchase order and receiver information are transmitted every 24 hours within the system.
