IntelliDealer Settings
On the IntelliDealer Settings screen you can configure various system settings to improve ease of use. The icon in the upper right corner, is a lock that disables modification of these settings. To enable modification of these settings, click the lock and enter the password.
To access the IntelliDealer Settings screen, click Administration > Settings > IntelliDealer Settings.
The options available are:
Field | Description |

System Administrator Email |
The primary administrator's email address. |
Maximum Data Miner Download Records | The number of maximum allowable Data Miner records that can be downloaded. |
Background Image Path | The path to the background image for the IntelliDealer sign-in page. |
Session Time Out |
The amount of time that a user's IntelliDealer session can remain idle before the system requires the user to re-enter their user credentials on the log in screen. Choose one of these options:

Reset Average Cost During Master Price Load |
When checked, the Average Cost on a Master Price load automatically resets before the run. This only occurs if the On Hand amount of that part is zero. |
Login page theme | The color of IntelliDealer's menu theme. |
Allow Password To Be Saved | When checked, the user's password is automatically populated with the password used on the most recent login. |
IntelliDealer/MyDealer Google Analytics Id |
A compatible Google Analytics ID to track usage data, to be viewable in the Google Analytics application. Google Analytics tracks click 'events' as they occur in real time. Tip: Use different Google Analytics IDs for IntelliDealer and MyDealer so as not to combine the data being collected. |
Generate Username On Add |
When checked, the username field is automatically populated with a combination of letters from the First Name and Middle Initial fields, plus the first few letters of the Last Name field, followed by a unique two digit number. (e.g. JSMITH11). |
Update G/L Balances From Financial Reporting |
If this checkbox is selected, and the system detects that the general ledger account balances can be updated (which is caused by a user manually creating a journal entry or updating an A/P journal for a date in a future fiscal year), then the system automatically updates the general ledger account balances before generating a financial report from the Financial Reporting Runs screen. If this checkbox is not selected then no the general ledger accounts balances are updated when generating the report. |
The Save button saves all configured fields.
The Allowed Users button lists the users that have permission to activate Maintenance Mode. See Maintenance Mode.
The Maintenance Mode button locks out all IntelliDealer and VitalEdge functions for most users. Its intent is to give administrators a way to ‘turn down’ the system without completely turning it off. See Maintenance Mode.
