IntelliDealer Settings
Use the IntelliDealer Settings screen to configure system settings that affect sign-in, session behavior, and other general options.
The 
icon in the upper-right corner is a lock that prevents modification of these settings. To enable modification, click the lock and enter the password.
To open the IntelliDealer Settings screen, navigate to Administration > Settings > IntelliDealer Settings.
The fields on the IntelliDealer Settings screen are:

| System Administrator Email | The primary administrator's email address. |
| Background Image Path | The path to the background image for the IntelliDealer sign-in page. |
| Login Page Theme | The color theme for the IntelliDealer menu. |
| Generate Username On Add | When selected, the username field is automatically populated with a combination of letters from the First Name and Middle Initial fields, plus the first few letters of the Last Name field, followed by a unique two digit number. (e.g. JSMITH11). |
| Session Time Out |
Controls how long a user's IntelliDealer session can remain idle before the system requires the user to sign in again. Select one of these options:

| Allow Password To Be Saved | When selected, the user's password is automatically populated with the password used on the most recent sign-in. |
| Update G/L Balances From Financial Reporting |
When selected, and the system detects that general ledger account balances can be updated (which occurs when a user manually creates a journal entry or updates an A/P journal for a date in a future fiscal year), the system automatically updates the general ledger account balances before generating a financial report from the Financial Reporting Runs screen. When this checkbox is not selected, the general ledger account balances are not updated when the report is generated. |
| Maximum Data Miner Download Records | The maximum number of Data Miner records that can be downloaded. |
| Session Time Out In Minutes |
When Per Minute Setting is selected in Session Time Out, enter the number of minutes a user session can remain idle before the system requires the user to sign in again. Valid values are 1–99. This field is disabled when 12 Hours is selected in Session Time Out. Tip: Do not set this value too low. A short timeout forces users to maintain activity every few minutes, which is not always possible during normal work. |
| Reset Average Cost During Master Price Load | When selected, the Average Cost on a Master Price load automatically resets before the run. This only occurs if the On Hand amount of that part is zero. |
| IntelliDealer Google Analytics Id | A compatible Google Analytics ID to track IntelliDealer usage data in the Google Analytics application. Google Analytics tracks click events as they occur in real time. |
| MyDealer Google Analytics Id |
A compatible Google Analytics ID to track MyDealer usage data in the Google Analytics application. Tip: Use different Google Analytics IDs for IntelliDealer and MyDealer so the collected data is not combined. |
Use these buttons to complete your work on the IntelliDealer Settings screen:

| Save | Saves all configured fields on the screen. |
| Maintenance Mode (Lock) / Maintenance Mode (Unlock) | Locks or unlocks IntelliDealer and VitalEdge functions for most users. Its intent is to give administrators a way to reduce system activity without completely turning the system off. See Maintenance Mode. This button is available only to users on the allowed users list. |
| Allowed Users | Lists the users that have permission to activate Maintenance Mode. See Maintenance Mode. |
