Configuration: Vermeer Parts Inventory

Use the Vermeer Parts Inventory screen to configure the Parts Inventory Transmit API interface. The interface transmits parts inventory to Vermeer based on the configured manufacturers as part of the nightly job.

To open the Vermeer Parts Inventory screen, from anywhere within IntelliDealer navigate to Configuration > Interfaces > Vermeer > Parts Inventory.

Parts Inventory Tab

The fields on the Vermeer Parts Availability screen are:

Field Description
User Id The user ID that the interface will use with the Vermeer website.
Password The password that the interface will use with the Vermeer website.

Click the Use New Transmit Process checkbox to use the new Rest API. If unchecked the legacy SOAP API is used.

Click Save to save your changes.

Vendors Tab

The Vendors tab lists the vendors configured with the manufacturer code Vermeer. These vendors drive the dealer numbers configuration.

The fields on the Vendor tab are:

Field Description
Search Search by any term.
Vendor Number Search for vendors by their registered Vendor number.
Name Search for vendors by their name.
Address Search for vendors by their physical address.
Country Search for vendors by their physical address.
Postal/Zip Code Search for vendors by their postal code.
Status Search for vendors by their activation status. You can specify filtering by Active, Deleted, or All vendors.
Manufacturer

Defaults to manufacturer code "Vermeer" because this screen only displays parts that have a vendor assigned with a Manufacturer code of Vermeer.

If no vendor is listed on the screen, click the Assign Manufacturer button to assign the Vermeer Manufacturer code for the Vermeer vendor that Vermeer parts are assigned to. Use the Vendor History button to open a list of vendors that have been used previously.

Click the Assign Manufacturer button to add another vendor manufacturer.

Dealer Numbers Tab

Displays dealer numbers associated with the vendors on the Vendors tab.

The fields on the Dealer Numbers tab are:

Field Description
Location The dealer's location.
Dealer Number The dealer's identification number.
Vendor Number The vendor's number.
Manufacturer The dealer's original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Defaults to Vermeer.
Primary Dealer (Division) or (Location) Check which box applies to the dealer number. If it is assigned as the primary dealership and is different from the default dealer number.
Include Deactivated Vendors Select this checkbox to include deactivated vendors in the list below. They are shown with a highlight.

Click Create to open a New window where you can make a new Dealer entry.

Dealer Accounts Tab

In some cases, the Vermeer Account and Location numbers for an IntelliDealer location may be different from the dealer number configured for that location. You can use the Dealer Accounts tab to override the dealer number with a custom Account Number and Location Number.

This configuration may already have been done on the Configuration > Interfaces > Vermeer > Dealer Integrations screen, in which case some values will be populated.

Click a dealer number in the list to edit the Account or Location Number with a custom value. If no value is provided for either the Account Number or Location Number, the Field Inventory and Retail Sales interfaces use the first three characters of the Dealer Number as the Account Number and the full Dealer Number as the Location Number.

The fields on the Dealer Accounts tab are:

Field Description
Dealer Number The dealer's identification number.
Account Number The custom account number for the dealer.
Location Number The custom location number for the dealer.

Manual Transmit Tab

Click the Transmit button to send the parts inventory to Vermeer immediately. Inventory data is sent to Vermeer in a nightly job by default.

IntelliDealer generates a PDF report that lists any errors and send it to the user configured on the Credentials screen.
