Volvo: MQ Client
Use the MQ Client screen to configure IBM MQ connection settings and keystore information used by Volvo parts-order messaging (for example, Parts Linq and GLIF MMI). Settings are organized by company, division, and location; values you leave blank at a lower level inherit from the parent level when applicable.
To open this screen, navigate to Configuration > Interfaces > Volvo > MQ Client.
Topics in this section include:
MQ Client tab
The MQ Client tab contains the messaging configuration forms and the actions at the bottom of the screen.
Use these buttons to complete your work on the MQ Client tab:
| Button | Description |
|---|---|
|
Save |
Saves changes to MQ Client settings for all sub-tabs on this tab. |
|
Close |
Closes the screen when IntelliDealer is running in a separate window. This button appears only in that mode. |
Company, Division, and Location sub-tabs
On the MQ Client tab, use the Company, Division, and Location sub-tabs to enter or override MQ settings at each level. Values set at company apply to all divisions and locations unless you override them on a division or location row. When a field is blank at division or location, IntelliDealer uses the value from the company or division level when one is defined.
Fields on the Company and Division sub-tabs:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
|
Keystore Name |
Name of the keystore file used for secured MQ communication. Obtain keystore details from Volvo or your integration contact. |
|
Keystore Password |
Password for the keystore. You can also maintain keystore name, password, validation, and upload on the KeyStore tab. |
|
Channel |
IBM MQ server connection channel name. |
|
User ID |
User ID the MQ client uses when connecting to the queue manager. |
|
Send Queue Name |
Outbound queue to which IntelliDealer sends MQ messages. |
|
Receive Queue Name |
Inbound queue from which IntelliDealer reads MQ messages. |
|
Party ID |
Party identifier required by the Volvo integration. |
|
Sales Organization |
Sales organization code used in Volvo messaging. |
|
Host Name Override |
Optional override for the MQ host name when directed by Volvo or support. |
|
Queue Manager Override |
Optional override for the queue manager name when directed by Volvo or support. |
The Location sub-tab includes the same fields and adds the following field:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
|
Parma ID |
Identifier used at the location level for the Volvo parts-order integration. |
KeyStore tab
Use the KeyStore tab to work with the TLS keystore that secures MQ communication for the selected company.
The Save button is on the MQ Client tab. After you change keystore name or password on this tab, switch to the MQ Client tab and click Save to store those values with the rest of the MQ configuration. The Upload action saves the uploaded keystore on the server and refreshes the settings without using Save.
| Field or control | Description |
|---|---|
|
Keystore Name |
Keystore file name on the server. This value aligns with the keystore fields on the MQ Client tab. |
|
Keystore Password |
Password for the keystore. |
|
Validate |
Checks the keystore and password. When validation succeeds, IntelliDealer displays the keystore type (when available) and a table of certificates with alias, entry type, certificate type, subject, issuer, serial number, and valid-from and valid-to dates. |
|
Upload |
Opens a dialog to choose a keystore file and enter its password for upload. This control is available only to internal support users. After a successful upload, IntelliDealer refreshes the configuration from the server. |
