Alert Receivers
Data Source: ALRTYP, ALRRCV, CMASTR
To open the Alert Receivers screen, click the Setup alert receivers link on the Alerts screen.
The Alert Receivers screen allows you to configure the recipients for each alert type at a divisional level. Only users or customers that have been configured as recipients on this screen will be able to receive alerts, with the following exceptions:
- Recipients specified in the Via field of the Add Alert/ Edit Alert screen will always receive alerts
- When configuring a Parts Quote is Expiring, Work Order Quote is Expiring or Equipment Quote is Expiring alert message, if the Salesperson field is selected on the Add Alert/ Edit Alert screen, the salesperson associated to the quote will always receive alerts
The following search field appears on the Alert Receivers screen:

Allows you to search for an alert type by name. |
The following fields appear on the Alert Receivers screen:
Note: These fields will only appear after selecting an alert type in the Select Alert Type field and clicking Go.
Field | Description |
---|---|
User Id/ Customer Number | The user or customer ID that has been configured to receive alert messages for the selected alert type. |
User Name/ Customer Name | The name of the user or customer. |
Delete | If clicked, will remove the selected user or customer from the alert receivers list. |
To create a new alert receiver, click the Need to create a new alert receiver? Click here to add link.
To delete an alert receiver, click the Delete icon next to the user or customer ID that you want to remove from the list.
The following button allows you to complete your work on Alert Receivers screen:

Close | Closes the Alert Receivers screen and returns to the Alerts screen. |
