Add Alert Receiver

Data Source: ALRTYP, ALRRCV, CMASTR

To open the Add Alert Receiver screen, click the Need to create a new alert receiver? Click here to add link on the Alert Receivers screen, then select an alert type on the Alert Types screen.

The Add Alert Receiver screen allows you to configure the recipients for each alert type at a divisional level. Only users or customers that have been configured as recipients on this screen will be able to receive alerts, with the following exceptions:

• Recipients specified in the Via field of the Add Alert/ Edit Alert screen will always receive alerts
• When configuring a Parts Quote is Expiring, Work Order Quote is Expiring or Equipment Quote is Expiring alert message, if the Salesperson field is selected on the Add Alert/ Edit Alert screen, the salesperson associated to the quote will always receive alerts

The following field appears on the Add Alert Receiver screen:

Field	Description
User/ Customer	The user or customer ID you want to configure as a recipient for the selected alert type.

The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the Add Alert Receiver screen:

Button	Function
Save	Saves the selected user or customer ID as a recipient for the selected alert type and returns to the Alert Receivers screen.
Save & New	Saves the selected user or customer ID as a recipient for the selected alert type and remains on the Add Alert Receiver screen, allowing you select another user or customer ID.
Close	Closes the Add Alert Receiver screen without saving any changes.
