Alert Types
Use the Alert Types screen to select a specific alert type to create or enter into the desired field.
To open the Alert Types screen, click the Search icon on the Alerts screen.

Click a location on the Location Selection screen when creating a new alert message.

Screen Description
The search fields on the Alert Types screen are:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Select Audience | Search for an alert type by selecting the intended audience. |
| Select Staging | Search for an alert type by selecting when the alert has been configured to be sent. |
| Select Area | Search for an alert type by selecting the business area that the alert applies to. |
| Select Alert | Search for an alert type by entering an alert name. |
The fields on the Alert Types screen are:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Alert | A brief description of the alert type. |
| Audience | Indicates whether the selected alert type can be sent exclusively to dealership employees (Internal) or to customers as well (External). |
| Staging | The manner in which the message associated to the alert type will be deployed to recipients; either immediately when the alert triggers (Immediate), or during a database or day end run (Batched). |
| Area | The business area associated to the selected alert type. |
