KPI Thresholds
The KPI Thresholds screen allows you to configure the thresholds used to dictate the Acceptable, Warning, and Critical performance levels for each Key Performance Indicator (KPI) at your dealership.
To open the KPI Thresholds screen, click a KPI name on the KPI Thresholds Listing screen.
These fields appear on the KPI Thresholds screen:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Department | The department associated to the selected KPI. |
KPI | The name of the KPI. |
The KPI Value is Between | The selected KPI will be considered to be performing well when the value is between the two values specified in these fields. |
Low Warning is Between | A low warning will be issued for the selected KPI when the value for the KPI is between the two values specified in these fields. |
High Warning is Between | A high warning will be issued for the selected KPI when the value for the KPI is between the two values specified in these fields. |
Critical is Greater Than | A critical warning will be issued for the selected KPI when the value for the KPI is greater than the value specified in this field. |
Critical is Less Than | A critical warning will be issued for the selected KPI when the value for the KPI is less than the value specified in this field. |
Manufacturer Reference |
If applicable, enter a manufacturer reference number (as specified by your manufacturer) to associate to the selected KPI. For example, a manufacturer might state that your dealership should expect to attain a 12.2% margin on parts sales based on a dealership network average. This field is for reference purposes only and does not affect the thresholds of the KPI, however it does appear on the KPI Location Comparison Graph if you are licensed for that feature. |
Association Reference |
If applicable, enter an association reference number (as specified by the association related to the selected KPI). For example, every year the Association of Equipment Distributors (AED) publishes a book called "The Cost of Doing Business" in which the KPI values for dealerships across the country are shown. If there exists an Association Reference value for the selected KPI, enter it here. This field is for reference purposes only and does not affect the thresholds of the KPI, however it does appear on the KPI Location Comparison Graph if you are licensed for that feature. |
