Purchases Screens

Use the Fiscal Equipment Purchases, Other Fiscal Purchases, Fiscal Parts Purchases, Fiscal Service Sales, Fiscal Rental Revenue and Total Fiscal Purchases screens to view a list of equipment purchases and compare the current year with past year trends.

The various Purchases screens can be accessed from the Geographic and Business Analysis screen by clicking the corresponding link.

The search fields on the Purchases screens are:

Field Function
Select Year Search for purchase information by selecting a year you wish to compare to the current years equipment trends, from the drop down list.
Select Sales Search for purchase information by selecting the type of sales fluctuation from the drop down list (e.g. all sales, increasing sales only or decreasing sales only).
Select Purchase Type Search for purchase information by selecting a purchase type from the drop down list (e.g. purchases this year or no purchases this year).

The fields on the Purchases screens are:

Field Description
Name The name of the customer associated with the purchase.
Territory The territory/location the customer is located in.
Salesperson The salesperson assigned to the customer's account.
County The abbreviation of the county where the customer resides.
BusinessClass The company's business class code.
Size The size of the company.
Type The type code.
Purchases The amount of the customer's purchases.
Arrow The arrow indicates and increase or decrease in customer's purchases.
% The percentage that the customer's purchases had increased or decreased.

Click a customer's Name link to open the Fiscal Purchase Summary screen.

The Totals button generates a page containing this information:

Field Description
Total Customers

Displays the total number of customers that have made purchases in the selected territory.

Purchases (Current year and Previous) Displays the total number of purchases made in the selected territory.
%Increase/Decrease Displays the percentage by which purchases have either increased or decreased.
Average Per Customer (Current year and Previous) Displays the average customer counts.
Purchases (Selected year and Previous) Displays the total dollar value of purchases for the selected year and category with a total for those same customers for the prior year. For example; if you select 2018 for the Fiscal Equipment Purchases you will see the total for 2018 for that category with the 2017 totals for the same customers. This gives a year by year comparison for that segment of customers.

Note:  The amounts generated are based on the elapsed time of the current fiscal year compared to the previous fiscal year.
