Columns

On the Columns tab you can specify what data you would like to have extracted from the system to appear in the various columns of your report. This screen shows the columns that are currently defined.

You can access the Columns tab from the Financial Reporting Runs screen by moving the cursor over the Name and selecting Edit from the pop-up menu.

The fields that appear on the Columns tab are:

Field Description
Report The name of the selected report.
Report Heading Appears at the top of the report, as well as on the listing of reports available to print.

The fields in the Column Information section on the Columns tab are:

Allows the user to edit the column information.

Note:  
Some columns are derived from values listed in other columns.

Type Shows the type of column and identifies what type of data is to appear in the column on the report.
Column Text Allows the user to add an alternate type description.
Move To move a column, simply click the éê arrows.

The column types are:

Type Description
Rolling 12 (L12) Value The value for the last 12 months.
Last YR End Value The value as of the end of the last fiscal year end.
Last YTD Value The last year's year to date value.
Current YTD Value The current year's year to date value.
Current Budget YTD Value The current budget year to date value.
Column Diff $ The dollar difference between the two columns specified.
Column Diff % The percentage difference between the two columns specified.
Next Month Budget The budget value for the next month.
High Performance Value The high performance value.
High Performance Description The description of the high performance value.
Total Budget The total budget for the year.
Last YR Month Actual Last year's month actual value.
Current Month Value The current year's month actual value.
Current Month Budget Value The current year's month budget value.
Period Value The actual value for the date range specified.
Budget Period Value The budget value for the date range specified.
Total of Columns

The total of all specified columns.

Note:  
Certain columns do not apply to balance sheet accounts (e.g. Rolling 12 Value, Current Month Budget Value, Period Value, Period Budget Value). If you select these columns with balance sheet accounts in your row calculation, NA (not applicable) will appear on the report. If you combine balance sheet and non-balance sheet accounts an ERROR will appear.

Blank Column A blank column.

Click on a Column number to open the Column Information screen.

Click on the Need to Add a Column? Click here link to add a new column.

Click Close to complete your work on the Columns tab.
