Parts & Labor Details

To open the Parts & Labor Details screen, click the Invoice Options link on an Invoice Preview screen and select Parts & Labor from the drop down list.

Note:  The Parts & Labor Details screen will only appear as an option on the Invoice Options drop down list for Service invoices.

The Parts & Labor Details screen allows you to view parts & labor details on invoice numbers.

The following search fields appear on the Parts & Labor Details screen:

Field Description
Select Requisition Number Search for parts & labor transactions by entering a requisition number.
Select Cash Code Search for parts & labor transactions by entering a cash code.
Select Item Search for parts & labor transactions by entering an item number.
Select Description Search for parts & labor transactions by entering an item description.
Select Segment Search for parts & labor transactions by entering a work order segment number.
Select Level Search for parts & labor transactions by entering a pricing level.
Select Discount Search for parts & labor transactions by entering a discount code.
Select Tax 1 Search for parts & labor transactions by entering a tax 1 code.
Select Tax 2 Search for parts & labor transactions by entering a tax 2 code.
Select Tax 3 Search for parts & labor transactions by entering a tax 3 code.
Select Tax 4 Search for parts & labor transactions by entering a tax 4 code.
Select Non-Stock Search for parts & labor transactions by entering a non-stocking code.
Outstanding Only If selected, will filter the results to display only outstanding parts and labor transactions.

The following fields appear on the Parts & Labor Details screen:

Field Description
Requisition Number The labor or parts requisition number on the work order transaction.
Cash Code The cash code for the labor hours transaction either 5 - customer, 7 - warranty or 8 - internal.
Item The part number or, in the case of a labor transaction, LABOR followed by the Labor Sales account and the Source code.
Description A description of the part or, in the case of a labor transaction, the technician number, overtime code, premium code, and posting date.
Segment The work order segment number.
LDTTTTN Displays the pricing level, discount, tax and non stocking codes for the selected part or labor transaction.
Price The selling price of the part, which is automatically entered by the system, or, in the case of a labor transaction, per hour rate being charged.
Amount The dollar amount, which is the quantity multiplied by the price.

Click on an Item to open the Parts Profile screen for further information pertaining to the selected item.

Note:  If a labor Item is selected the Parts Profile screen will appear displaying an Invalid Part Number error message.

The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the Parts & Labor Details screen:

Button Function
Print Prints the Work Order Details report (WPSPLB).
Close Closes the Parts & Labor Details screen and returns to the Invoice Preview screen.
