Custom Screen Field Edit

Use the Custom Screen Field Edit screen to edit a custom screen field.

To open the Custom Screen Field Edit screen, hover over a Field name on the Custom Screen Fields screen and select Edit Field.

Fields on the Custom Screen Field Edit screen are:

Field Description
Field The name of the new field.
Field Type

The custom field type. Valid choices are:

  • Character—a field that accepts alphanumeric data
  • Numeric—a field that accepts only numeric data
  • Date—a field to store a date (the system automatically displays a date picker icon)
  • Checkbox—a checkbox that can be checked/unchecked (yes/no)
Length/Format The length of the new field. This field only applies to character and numeric fields.
Decimals The number of decimal places used within a field. Used only for numeric field types.
Mandatory Whether the field is a mandatory field within the IntelliDealer system, and needs to be filled out before another action can occur. This field does not apply to a checkbox.

Click Save to save changes made to the Custom Screen Field Edit screen.

Click Delete to delete the selected custom field.

Click Close to close the Custom Screen Field Edit screen without saving and return to the Custom Screen Fields screen.
