Gift Card

The Gift Card screen can be accessed from either the Parts Invoicing Details tab or the Work Order Parts Requisition Details tab by clicking on the Gift Card button.

The Gift Card screen allows you to redeem a gift card, load a gift card, or check the balance on a gift card.

The following is a description of the fields that appear on the Gift Card screen:

Field Description
Gift Card Number

Once swiped the gift card number will be authorized for use.

The gift card number will appear once the gift card has been swiped and authorized.

Note:  
Gift cards must be swiped through a card reader to authorize a transaction.

Note:  
Gift Card numbers are not stored or printed.
Invoice Amount Indicates the current amount owing on the invoice.
Gift Card Balance The current balance left on the gift card will appear once the card has been swiped and authorized.
Redemption Amount

The invoice amount will automatically populate the field once the Redeem button is selected.

Note:  
The redemption amount can be manually adjusted but cannot exceed the invoice amount.
Load Amount Enter the amount of money you wish to load of the corresponding gift card.

Select the Clear Card Information link to clear any gift card information and reset the Gift Card screen.

The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the Gift Card screen:

Button Description
Redeem

Allows you to debit a gift card. A credit transaction using the special Gift Card part number is posted on the invoice. The card number will be stored in the part description field and the part number price will be a credit amount.
Load Allows you to load a gift card with credit. A debit line is posted on the invoice using the gift card part.
Swipe Used to authorize a gift card, if the system is using a point-of-sale device or Magtek unit.
Close Closes the Gift Card screen without authorizing any transactions and returns to the previous screen.
