Rental: Exchange
Use the Exchange screen to exchange a rental unit.
The Exchange screen is accessed from the Return Summary screen by setting the Option field to Exchange.
Note: The Exchange option cannot be used to exchange to a location that is not configured for Rental, or when Allow Returns to Different Locations is not enabled in system 840 - Product Support - Rental Counter. Therefore, you may be able to see (but not rent) machines from other locations.
Fields on the Exchange screen are:

| Exchange Stock Number | The exchanged unit's stock number. |
| Current Hours | The current hours on the exchanged unit. |
| New Hours | The new hours on the exchanged unit. |
| Category | The category of the unit. |
| Class | This field displays the class and subclass codes for the exchanged unit. |
| Sub Class | The unit's subclass code. |
Click Save to save changes made to the Exchange screen and return to the Return Summary screen.
