The Package Price/Discount screen can be accessed from either the Rental Details tab or Extended Details screen by clicking on the Package Pricing button.

Note:  
Accessing the Package Price/Discount screen through the Rental Details tab allows you to apply package pricing to the whole rental contract. However, accessing the Package Price/Discount screen through the Extended Details screen allows you to apply package pricing to line items on the rental contract.

The Package Price/Discount screen allows you to discount the rates of all items on the contract and allows for package pricing on related stock numbers and attachments.

The following is a description of the fields that appear on the Package Price/Discount screen:

Field	Description
Original Total	The original total of all of the items that appear on the rental contract.
New Total	The desired total amount for all of the items that appear on the rental contract.
Discount	The desired discount percentage applied to all of the items that appear on the rental contract.

Note:  
All rates for the appropriate items on the contract will be adjusted. For example, if the contract items are currently set to a daily duration, but there are also weekly and monthly rates for the items, these rates will also be adjusted by the equivalent percent.

The following is a description of the fields that appear on the Package Price/Discount screen after adding attachments to a rental contract:

Field	Description
Stock Number	The stock number of the main unit and any attachments.
Description	A brief description of the stock number.
Amount	The total dollar value of the rental contract line.

The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the Package Price/Discount screen:

Button	Function
Calculate	Calculates either the New Total field or the Discount field depending on which field you have entered a value in, the other value will be calculated and displayed by the system.
Save	Saves changes made on the Package Price/Discount screen to the rental contract as standard rate overrides.
Close	Closes the Package Price/Discount screen without saving and returns to the Rental Details tab.

The Select Attachments for screen can be accessed from the Extended Details screen by clicking on the Package Pricing button.

The Select Attachments for screen allows you to add attachments onto a rental contract before applying packing pricing.

The following is a description of the fields that appear on the Select Attachments for screen:

Field	Description
	Allows you to select which attachments to include on the rental contract.
Attachment	The attachment's stock number.
Description	A brief description of the attachment.

The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the Select Attachments for screen:

Button	Function
Add	Adds the selected attachments to the rental contract. Once the attachments are added, you need to go back in to the unit and press the Package Pricing button again to set the desired price.
Cancel	Closes the Select Attachments for screen without adding attachments to the rental contract and returns to the Extended Details screen.
