Select Rate Code

To open the Select Rate Code screen, click the Search icon next to the Rate Code field on the Segments tab.

The Select Rate Code screen allows you to select a rate code from the list to populate the Rate Code field.

Note:  Valid labor rates are configured on the Rates screen.

Note:  Only rate codes associated to the Type Code on the work order will be displayed as options on this screen. For more information, see the Rates topic.

The following is a description of the fields that appear on the Select Rate Code screen:

Field	Description
Rate Code	The labor rate code.
Description	A brief description of the rate code.
Labor Rate	The labor rate amount.
Hours Multiplier	The factor applied to the job code hours to determine the total estimated time needed to complete the work (e.g. hours multiplier of 1.10 would change a job code with 2.0 hours needed to be 2.2 hours). Note:  As of IntelliDealer Insight 1.0, this value will no longer be printed on invoices/ quotes.

The following button allows you to complete your work on the Select Rate Code screen:

Close	Closes the Select Rate Code screen and returns to the previous screen.
