Select Rate Code

Use the Select Rate Code screen to select a rate code from the list to populate the Rate Code field. Valid labor rates are configured on the Rates screen.

To open the Select Rate Code screen, click the Search icon next to the Rate Code field on the Segments tab.

Fields on the Select Rate Code screen are:

Field	Description
Rate Code	The labor rate code. Only rate codes associated to the Type Code on the work order are displayed as options on this screen. For more information, see the Rates topic.
Description	A brief description of the rate code.
Labor Rate	The labor rate amount.
Hours Multiplier	The factor applied to the job code hours to determine the total estimated time needed to complete the work (e.g. hours multiplier of 1.10 would change a job code with 2.0 hours needed to be 2.2 hours). This value is not printed on invoices/quotes.

Click Close to close the Select Rate Code screen and return to the previous screen.
