Deactivating an Account

  1. From any IntelliDealer screen, click on the Configuration tab.
    The Configuration Quick Links screen will appear.

  2. From the General Ledger list, click the G/L Accounts link and select Account Profile from the drop down list.

  3. The Account Profiles screen will appear.

  4. On the Account Profiles screen, fill in the appropriate fields and click the Go >> link.
    The Account Profiles screen will refresh listing the generated search results.

  5. Click on an Account Number.
    The Account Profile tab will appear.

  6. On the Account Profile tab, select the Active for G/L checkbox, removing the checkmark.

  7. Click on the Save button in order to deactivate the account within the general ledger.

    Note:  
    If you deactivate an account, it will still appear on financial reports for two years.
