MyDealer: Payments

MyDealer can be enabled to allow dealer customers to electronically pay outstanding accounts receivable amounts via MyDealer. Customers can select one or more invoices to pay and then make full or partial payments on the total. Payments can be made using either a credit card or ACH (Automated Clearing House) via Versapay or Worldpay (in the US).

Prerequisites

For Versapay:

  • Feature 6157 - Payment Card Interface must be enabled.

  • The dealer must be on-boarded with Versapay and have contracted for Payment Card Interface via their VitalEdge sales rep. They must have an eCommerce ID from Versapay. In order to get an eCommerce ID from Versapay, they must also have a normal merchant account with Versapay - please ensure dealers are requesting both when they sign up.

For Worldpay using Authorize.net:

  • Feature 6286 - Authorize.net Interface must be enabled.

  • The dealer must have an Authorize.net account. As a client, when creating an Authorize.net account make sure that eCheck is part of the product purchased. Applicable fees from Authorize.net will apply.

Setup Versapay Cash Codes for MyDealer

Each location must have one Credit Card Cash Code enabled with Versapay and the related MyDealer accounts.

  1. Go to Configuration > General Ledger > Accounts Receivable > Cash Codes.

    The Cash Codes screen opens.

  2. Open the Credit Card cash code configured for Versapay by clicking the pencil icon.

  3. Set these fields to the values received from Versapay :

    • Versapay Gateway

    • Versapay Account

    • MyDealer Account

    • MyDealer ACH Account

  4. Click Save and Close.

Enabling a Customer's Profile for Payments

  1. From anywhere in IntelliDealer, navigate to the Customer Listing screen, and open a customer profile.

    The Customer Listing screen is available from these menu paths:

    • Financial Management > Accounts Receivable > Customer Profile

    • Customer Care > CRM > Customer Profile

    • Management Central > CRM > Customer Profile

  2. Click A/R Agency tab. Ensure there is a Credit card enabled and it is set to the code for Versapay.

  3. Click the Contact tab, and open a contact that is enabled for MyDealer.

  4. Click the MyDealer tab.

    The MyDealer contact tab opens.

  5. Click the checkbox for Allow Payments on Account.

  6. Verify the customer's Business location. The customer's payments are made to the Business Location set in their MyDealer Profile.
