Financial Management - PO System

To access the Work With Security Switches screen, click the link for the desired system or switch. You can control access to the security switch for individual users or user groups.

General

Field Description
Access POs Gives the user access to the Purchase Orders screen and system at Financial Management > Accounts Payable > Purchase Orders.
Access Reports Allows the user to access purchase order reports. When enabled, the Purchase Order reports link appears on the Purchase Orders screen.
Add Ship Tos Allows the user to add a ship to location to the Ship to Selection screen. When enabled, the Click here to add a ship to location link will appears on the Ship to Selection screen.
Access Multimedia Gives the user access to the Multimedia tab within a purchase order.
Add Multimedia Allows the user to add multimedia files to a purchase order in the Multimedia tab.
Modify Multimedia Allows the user to modify or delete multimedia files associated to a purchase order in the Multimedia tab.

Equipment POs

Field Description
Display Allows the user access to display equipment and equipment replenishment purchase orders from on the Purchase Orders screen.
Add/Change Allows the user to add a new equipment and equipment replenishment purchase order on the Purchase Orders screen. When enabled, the Click here to add a Purchase Order link appears, and listed equipment and equipment replenishment purchase orders are editable.
Allow PO Request Takeover

Allow the user to take over equipment and equipment replenishment purchase orders previously created by another user when the status is one of:

  • PO Request
  • Authorized
  • On Order
  • Rejected
Authorize Allow the user to authorize equipment purchase orders.
Order Allow the user to authorize and place orders on equipment purchase orders.
Receive Allow the user to access to an equipment purchase order for the purpose of receiving goods.

Fixed Asset POs

Field Description
Display Allows the user access to display fixed asset purchase orders from on the Purchase Orders screen.
Add/Change Allows the user to add a new fixed asset purchase order on the Purchase Orders screen. When enabled, the Click here to add a Purchase Order link appears and listed fixed asset purchase orders are editable.
Allow PO Request Takeover Allow the user to take over fixed asset purchase orders previously created by another user.
Authorize Allow the user to authorize fixed asset purchase orders.
Authorize/Order Allow the user to authorize and place orders on fixed asset purchase orders.
Receive Only Allow the user to access to a fixed asset purchase order for the purpose of receiving goods.

Miscellaneous POs

Field Description
Display Allows the user access to display miscellaneous purchase orders from on the Purchase Orders screen.
Add/Change Allows the user to add a new miscellaneous purchase order on the Purchase Orders screen. When enabled, the Click here to add a Purchase Order link appears and listed miscellaneous purchase orders are editable.
PO Request Takeover Allow the user to take over miscellaneous purchase orders previously created by another user.
Authorize Allow the user to authorize miscellaneous purchase orders.
Authorize/Order Allow the user to authorize and place orders on miscellaneous purchase orders.
Receive Only Allow the user to access to a miscellaneous purchase order for the purpose of receiving goods.
