Employee Profile

You can use the Employee Profile screen to add, change, and display employee information.

To access the Employee Profile screen, from anywhere in IntelliDealer, navigate to Financial Management > Payroll > Employee Profile.

The sorting options on the Employee Profile screen are:

Sort by
Field Description
Employee Number Sort the search results by employee number.
Name Sort the search results by employee name.

The search fields on the Employee Profile screen are:

Field Description
Select Employee Number Search for an employee by entering an employee number.
Select Class Search for an employee by entering an employee class code.
Select Profit Center Search for an employee by entering a profit center.
Include Terminated If selected, includes terminated employee profiles within the search results.
Select Name Search for an employee by entering an employee name.
Select Category Search for an employee by entering an employee category.
Select Pay Type Search for an employee by entering an employee pay type.

The fields on the Employee Profile screen are:

Field Description
Employee Number The employee number. The employee number can be up to five digits long consisting of alphanumeric or trailing blank characters.
Name The name of the employee.
Class The class of the employee. This field determines the G/L expense account which the employee's wages are debited. Valid class codes are set up on the Classes screen.
Category

A three character user-defined employee category.

Profit Center The profit center or department where the employee's wages are charged.
Pay Type The employee's pay type.

The available Profit Center Departments are:

0 Balance Sheet
1 Administration
2 Equipment Sales
3 Parts
4 Service
5 Rental
6-9 User defined departments

Click on an Employee Number to open the Employee Profile tab.

Select the Click here to add an employee link to add a new employee to the system.
