Financial Management - Payroll
To access the Work With Security Switches screen, click the link for the desired system or switch. You can control access to the security switch for individual users or user groups.
Note: Employee payroll functionality has been deprecated since December 2013 for US dealers and December 2016 for Canadian dealers.

Profile
| Security Switches - Payroll | |

| Access | Allows the user to access the Employee Profile screen at Financial Management > Payroll > Employee Profile. When enabled, the Employee Profile menu option appears. |
| Modify Employee | Allows the user to save changes made to the Employee Profile tab and to add new employee profiles to the payroll system. When enabled, a Save button appears on the Employee Profile tab and the Click here to add an employee profile link appears on the Employee Profile screen. |
| Access Service Information | Allows the user to access the Service Information tab through the Employee Profile screen by clicking on an Employee Number. |
| Modify Service Information | Allows the user to save changes made to the Service Information tab. When enabled, a Save button will appear on the Service Information tab. |

| Access Vendor Tech IDs | Allows the user access to the Vendor Tech IDs screen through the Certifications tab. When enabled the Maintain vendor tech IDs link appears. |
| Modify Vendor Tech IDs | Allows the user to save changes made to the Vendor Tech IDs screen. When enabled a Save button appears on the Vendor Tech IDs screen. |
| Access Multimedia | Allows the user to access the Multimediatab through the Employee Profile screen by clicking on an Employee Number. |
| Add Multimedia | Allows the user to add multimedia files to an employee profile. When enabled, the Click here to add a link from the IntelliDealer server and the Add an external link links appear on the Multimedia tab. |
| Modify Multimedia | Allows the user to save changes made to the Multimedia tab. When enabled, a Save button appears on the Multimedia tab. |

| Access Check Reconciliation |
Allows the user to access the Check Reconciliation screen at Financial Management > Payroll > Check Reconciliation. |
| Access Check Reconciliation Preliminary | Gives the user access to the Check Reconciliation Month End Preliminary screen. When enabled, the Check Reconciliation Month End Preliminary link appears. |
| Access Check Reconciliation Month End | Gives the user access to the Check Reconciliation Month End screen. When enabled, the Check Reconciliation Month End link appears. |
| Access Check Reconciliation Upload | When enabled, the Upload Check Reconciliation File link appears on the Check Reconciliation screen. |
| Access Positive Pay Download | Allows the user to access the Download tab. When enabled, the Create Positive Pay File link appears on the Check Reconciliation screen. |
| Allow A/P Checks In Positive Pay Download | Allows you user to download A/P checks while in the positive pay download function. When enabled, an A/P Checks checkbox appears on the Download tab. |
