Close Labor Entry

To open the Close Labor Entry screen, hover over a Technician name on the Supervisor - Labor in Progress tab and select Close from the pop-up menu.

The Close Labor Entry screen allows a supervisor to close a labor entry that has been left running.

Note:  If the Update Date/ Time Added On Supervisor Force Close switch is activated in the CMBR5 table of the green screen application, force-closing a labor entry from the Labor in Progress tab will automatically update the Date Added and Time Added fields in the WOTTM file (WTDTA and WTTMA) with the current date/time (when the entry was closed).

The following fields appear on the Close Labor Entry screen:

Field Description
Work Order The number of the work order that you have selected to close.
Technician The technician assigned to the selected work order.
Start Time The labor transaction start time.
Stop Time The labor transaction stop time, which will default to the current time.
Premium Code Used to calculate the total labor charge.
Start Date The date the labor on the unit has started.
Stop Date The date the labor on the unit in completed. The stop date will default to today's date for labor in progress.
Hours Worked The hours worked on the labor transaction calculated by the system.
Hours Charged

The hours charged to the segment.

Note:  If left blank, the hours charged defaults to hours worked.

The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the Close Labor Entry screen:

Button Function
Save Closes the selected labor entry.
Close Closes the Close Labor Entry screen without saving and returns to the Supervisor - Labor in Progress tab.
